I was elected to Fort Collins City Council in April 2021, serving District 3 (the southeast portion of the City). During my time on City Council, I’ve championed policies that make Fort Collins a more livable city—leading efforts on climate action, affordable housing, job creation, improved transit, better trails, and the advancement of the Southeast Community Center. It has truly been an honor to serve the residents of District 3.

In addition to representing my District on City Council, I have actively represented Fort Collins’ interests with a variety of City, State and National organizations:

  • Vulnerable Road User Protection, SB24-036

  • Fund for Motor Vehicle Collision Prevention, HB25-1303

I also regularly testify  to the State legislature, representing the City’s interests on important measures, such as:

Following graduate school in Denver, my husband and I lived in Maine, New York, and Oregon before returning to Colorado. We’ve now been living in our home in Fort Collins for almost 15 years. Our three children have grown up attending Poudre School District, with the youngest still a student at our neighborhood middle school.

In addition to my time on City Council, I’m proud of my history of leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, advocacy and bringing people together. My accomplishments include establishing an online craft and events business that served customers on five continents, creating a nonprofit that benefited both hospitals and restaurants during the height of the COVID pandemic, and serving on leadership positions at charitable organizations.

When I get the chance, I enjoy getting out biking and hiking on our local trails as well as spending time with family and friends.
